In March 2019,David successfully completed a Masters of Health Management, (University of New England), majoring in Health Policy, Strategy and Systems and Inter-professional Collaboration (IPC) to add to his impressive skills and qualifcations.

During this time, David also attained national accreditation as a Mediator/Conflict Resolution Manager and, as a result, actively provides pro bono mediation services to the SA Magistrates Courts.

He is the current SA member of the Thought Leadership group within the Resolution Institute and has a monthly thought-provoking article in each Pulse newsletter.

David has the lived-experiences, acquired skills and vision to mediate for and with you.

Salient points supporting his ability as a mediator include:

· Lived-Experience : In excess of four decades with a person-centered, problem-solving, solution-focussed framework as a medical doctor, helping, managing and championing chronically disabled/mentally and physically unwell, patients, who had fallen through the cracks in the pavement of medical science

· Communication: Highly developed communication skills publicly, in written and in face-to-face and telephone conversations. Monthly radio RPH interview, via telephone on health matters for past 20 years. Since the onset
of Covid-19, the radio interviews are pre-recorded via Zoom.

· Commitment to Justice and Equity: is an integral part of David's work as a pro-bono mediator within the Adelaide Magistrates Courts.

· Mediation, Advocacy, Collaboration and Liaison: Over 40 years of interacting and liaising with disabled, disempowered, helpless, depressed and/or anxious, unwell patients, their support network, GP, Specialists and healthcare professionals, and with Workers Comp, Insurers, and with local, state and federal health authorities.

· Research analytical and writing skills:

Evidenced in
(a) Master’s Research paper identifying a gap in the research database of the MTHFR gene in the elderly affecting mental health, sleep disorders and dementia
(b) my dissertation on past, present and future medicine evolving into Personalised Medicine.

(c) monthly researched articles on the mindset, knowledge and skills required to be a good mediator

· Virtue ethics: I live lived ethically with balance, discernment, open-mindedness and understanding, care and compassion that, in turn, engender Practical Thinking and sound judgement.
